Pamu Farms of New Zealand

Pāmu is the brand name for the Government owned Landcorp Farming Limited. Pāmu, which translates to ‘to farm’ in Māori, stands for best practice in sustainable and safe farming, and for the unique provenance of New Zealand foods, nutrition products and fibre on global markets. The name Pamu was recommended to reflect the Māori concept of guardianship of the environment (kaitiakitanga), a key principle in modern New Zealand farming practices.
