Sven&Friends has partnered with Kim Thorp to create a brand inspired by the geology of the Tuki Tuki landscape and built on a rich story and sense of place.
Te Weka is a living, breathing, ever-changing environment. At the heart of the project is the rewilding of the landscape with more than 175,000 native plants and trees already having been planted.
The identity tells the story of the dramatic landscape and the rock outcrops that make up Te Mata and surrounding peaks. The iconic hills we now see rising from the Hawke’s Bay plains have been uplifted from the sea bed over the millennia by tectonic plate collision, which continues to this day.
